Professor Michael Clarke says a shift from wintry weather to spring may hit Russia’s try to take hold of extra territory within the south and east of Ukraine.

Russian forces have withdrawn from the Kyiv house and will probably be redistributed to the Mariupol and Donbas house as soon as they have got recovered.

However with the elements warming up, makes an attempt to transport heavy apparatus like tanks round may turn out tricky beneath cushy flooring.

  2. If Russians successfully take Donbass region I say Ukraine should send in incendiary shells to ignite the massive coal seam Russians want the region so bad for.
It would take an act of god to put the fire out.

    What’s taking so long
So tired of the polite synopsis of what’s Ukraine’s reality-
Talk about the family displacement, genocide, indiscriminate bombing and rape that are happening.
Keep it real, Ukraine’s on fire- why are we watching with the oscars happening, and the rest of the world is playing nice/ normal
    This is awful and inhumane

  16. Russians have two words for truth and three word for lies:
    – Istina = Always truth, as western cultures perceive truth.
    – Pravda = Truth in order to get out of a sticky situation. (What westerns percieve as propaganda and lies.)
    – Vranyo = A lie that is obvious but okey because it serves the interest of your group/Russia. (What westerns percieve as hardcore lies.)

  25. The war is going to be long. I think it would be appropriate for the Ukrainians to save the armored vehicles that the Westerners are going to provide them and focus on manpads and drones to destroy as many Russian transports as they can without endangering the Ukrainian ones. Putin is going to be bogged down in the spring and summer and the Ukrainians may strike back with their new stuff in the fall or winter.

  26. As pointed out this war Russia and Ukraine, has a meaning to the western world which wars in Yemen and Myanmar don’t, the conflict has an effect of the western world economy. The loss of life in any war is devastating, the mutilations are for life.the loss of family members tragic. Yet the reporting on wars in this world and their reporting in my opinion to me a dependent on the media.

  29. We will see the complete opposite on the 9th May Victory parade in Russia. Putin will be lying through his teeth telling the Russians what a brilliant victory they had. He will forget to mention they lost a flag ship, thousands of soldiers, lots of useless generals and colonels not to mention hundreds of tanks and other military hardware. It will be a lying fest and the Russians will lap it up.
