  1. Netherlands problem is lack of a superstar striker and top coach.

  2. Uruguay could still be in the mix. Suarez and Cavani are not getting younger but still going strong for their club sides. I could see a Forlan 2010 type tournament from them. And they have a better coach than many other teams.

  3. Good to see the panel giving Germany respect at every World Cup Germany will always be in the fav list because they are Germany the history says it just like Brazil and Italy. But France Spain Brazil Italy are up there too. In terms of midfield Germany is strong attack is ok they need striker and defense is decent now then with low. At 2:38 did the guy said they haven’t got the Jorginho 😂 sideways bang average player. Verratti makes sense barella too.

  4. Any big club will take Declan rice or philips 😂 no Bayern won’t Madrid won’t, Chelsea won’t, city won’t, Liverpool might, Barcelona sure that’s all. Craig the most English biased merchant no other talents in Europe aside from England 😂

  7. I think Craig Burley makes a valid point about England. Last World Cup it was a surprise element. Now these players have had enough experience. How many more tournaments are needed. Kane will be 29. By next 2026 he will be 33.

  8. Do you realise Denmark are actually making history at the moment with how they are qualifying? Not to mention they Got to semis in euros? Still they are not even mentioned (8 wins, 27 goals, 0 consided)

  9. England has the two divers upfront. Once referees get that, England would wish have stayed home.

  10. The issue I think tactically with england is in midfield look at who they got in midfield. All of these midfielder are very good players but there a bunch of numbers 10’s and a holding midfielders but they lack someone more dynamic to give them easier movement and a dynamic in the center of the field. They don’t have a busquets or kante that add more to their game like busquets passing and vison and Kantes stamina and tackling

  11. This is what I am talking about. Craig does not have a clue of what he is saying. England can’t and won’t be able to outpass the big boys. Every top nation has a elite deep lying playmaker with the exception of maybe Brazil and France, they have players that control the game. So my point is who is England’s Verratti or Jorginho? They don’t have a Busquets or a Toni Kroos. These guys have proven over a period of time that they win you the big trophies. England have always had the talent and now they have it in depth but the huge problem is why don’t they have a deep lying playmaker? Who is the Paul Scholes or Michael Carrick for England?

Lastly England don’t have the right manager to play a possession based game and I suited to play a high tempo game which would get the best out of the players they have.

  12. World Cup 22 not sure we made the Semi final last night this team have played a lot more together since then if it comes down to England vs Italy that would be a dream Italy may have it but if they lost to Spain in the euros I think we had it there’s so much that can go wrong on the day but will England losing at a final now be the motivation to drive them to make another final and win we see

  13. England could have won 3-2 or even 4-1 but they were misguided by the manager and captain ..no team in the world would recommend that when you take a 1-0 lead …😂

  14. Of course England always tops as favourites in every competition because most famous bookies are english. I don't mind it because it doesn't make them champions. Their trophy cabinet says it all

  16. Stevie us right for me. England have a really good group here but the manager is not that good he's doesn't try anything he just plays defensive and hope to get something on the counter.

  17. If these are the bookies favourites then you can't necessarily go by them, the bookies tend to make a team or a person favourite knowing they won't win so everyone bets on him/her or them and when he/she or they don't win the bookies make money.

  19. Possibly but it’ll be tough

  20. Why on Earth would we be? A nice run is one thing, but we don't have the trophy pedigree or any idea how to get it.

  21. “Every generation of England players seems to be the golden generation”

    instant response

“Well we’re a golden country, aren’t we Shaka”

  23. England do have a chance, they were weaker at Russia 2018 cause they still had new players and a few senior players, but were more formidable during the euros, top the group without conceding, finally beat Germany and beat an inspired Denmark, and in the final were confident and took the early lead against Italy but somehow lost confidence and let them back into the game then fate decided the shootout, also Pickford won the golden glove and people underestimate England defense when they didn’t concede a goals until the semi final to a free kick against Denmark

  24. Personally. I have lost respect for the English team for going to the world cup that is in a country that has no Human rights which goes against everything that England fought for.

  25. Trent Alexander Arnold, Jordan Henderson, Alex Oxlade Chamberlain, Phil Foden, Raheem Sterling,
Jack Grealish, and Kyle Walker are the real keys for England NT since they are active favourites and "stars" in the UEFA champions league.
People kept saying how unstoppable their game is… So why do people hate England????

  26. England was clearly favored by playing the finals of the EURO CUP at home and now some believe they can maintain the level. Just not good enough for the top competition in the WORLD CUP…

  27. Yes, obviously.

  28. England is overrated. They have these so called "great players" in England but cannot win anything. Reason their last World Cup triumph was in 1966.

  29. If Premier league is supposed to be the best league in the world, then England should be DREAM team favorites!

  30. England is good but not great. Sure, there are a lot of English players doing well in the EPL (the top pro league), but all these English players at city, Liverpool, etc., are supported by superstar coaches and players from the cream of the crop from countries like Spain Portugal France Germany Brazil Argentina etc. so yeah English players play great in the EPL, but they don’t have that extra bit to independently be the top top without those coaches and rockstars from other football powerhouse nations.

  31. Every team in the world cup thinks that they are gonna win. Bias thinking will hinder us to look at things critically and Logically. So let's look at the facts. England is a very strong team and to think that USA could beat England is wushful thinking but that's the beauty of soccer miracles had happened before and it could happen again. But if Iran play the way they played against Portugal, and Argentina. They will advance to the next stage….But in paper England not only could advance to the next stage, but also England could win the world cup. But stranger things have happened so you never know. Not to mention the Erupean teams

  32. This world cup is odd af too…like the premiere league is going to be going on then take a break…so my USA team could collect injuries before the cup that will change everything. Same for England. The good news is the players will be in form for the cup.

  33. Do England plan on playing with 2 6s and Mount? That's so defensive.

  34. England has to score more to have a shot at this. They need to be much more aggressive. It’s like watching Tottenham All or Nothing, they are too nice out there!!!
