The issue I think tactically with england is in midfield look at who they got in midfield. All of these midfielder are very good players but there a bunch of numbers 10’s and a holding midfielders but they lack someone more dynamic to give them easier movement and a dynamic in the center of the field. England is good but not great. Sure, there are a lot of English players doing well in the EPL (the top pro league), but all these English players at city, Liverpool, etc., are supported by superstar coaches and players from the cream of the crop from countries like Spain Portugal France Germany Brazil Argentina etc. so yeah English players play great in the EPL, but they don’t have that extra bit to independently be the top top without those coaches and rockstars from other football powerhouse nations.
